The machinery, like a large mower worth about $50,000, "can't function," DeBruin said. The machines are necessary to maintain the park's par 3 course. Officials believe the vandals were two adolescents. The course will close for the year when it needs the maintenance workers can't provide because of the lack of equipment, DeBruin said. It is difficult to say how much longer other par 3s will remain open she said. "The timing of the closing of the par 3s are highly dependent on weather," she said |
