Developer seeks changes
May 28, 2008 -- Developer Sheila Firari has approached Story Hill residents about their potential support for changes in the design of the homes that can be built on the Bluemound Rd. property immediately east of Mitchell Blvd. Park. Firari and her partner bought site, where previously there was a greenhouse, in 2005. The Common Council approved a plan calling for the construction of six architecturally-diverse homes on the site. None of the sites have sold, however. Firari has suggested the possibility of building ranch homes on the site, according to Steve Brachman, who met with the developer. Such a change in site plans would require Common Council approval. |
