Aug. 20, 2007 -- A new City of Milwaukee web site -- brought to you by Story Hill's own Ald. Michael Murphy -- allows visitors to view inspection records of city restaurants, food stores and other places that sell food.

The Food Establishment Inspection Reporting System is designed to be an easy-to-use, public records access website for Milwaukee residents and visitors, Murphy said.

The site includes information about the Bluemound Rd. restaurants near Story Hill, as well as those at Miller Park.

“The great thing about this new website is that it provides timely information on the current City of Milwaukee Health Department (MHD) codes compliance of any restaurant, tavern, or food store in the city,” he said.

“So if you have any questions about the cleanliness or condition of a particular city business selling food, you just go online and review the reports for yourself,” he said.
