19, 2006 -- The mailbox at N. Story Pkwy. and
W. Bluemound Rd. will not be removed as previously planned,
the U.S. Postal Service has decided.
The
mailbox had been slated for removal, but a Story Hill
resident swung distributed a note urging everyone to call
and request the box stay, according to Story Hill Neighborhood
Association member Peter Schmidt.
"Her
efforts paid off," Schmidt said. "However, the
Postal Service did say they will monitor the amount of
mail and if the box isn't being used much they will remove
it later."
